We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read the Privacy and Data Protection Policy carefully before using our Company Website or mobile application and/or providing us with your personal data.
The Privacy and Data Protection Policy (“Policy”) sets out the basis upon which The Absolute Mall (collectively referred to as “we”, “us” and “our”, “the Company”) may collect, use and disclose or otherwise process personal data collected from you or our customers, members and Dealers through our Company The Absolute Mall’s Website (“the Site”) in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”). This Policy applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including personal data in the possession of organizations that we have engaged to collect, use, disclose or process personal data for our purposes.
Personal data collected by us is handled in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the "Act"). By submitting and/or applying your application through electronic or physical means for the engagement or potential engagement of services, you signify that you have read and understood this Policy.
1. Application of this Policy
This policy applies to all persons engaged in a contract for services with us (i.e. customers, members, dealers) or is in the process of exploration for potential business engagement with us (“prospects”), and all references to “services” shall apply equally to services provided by the Absolute Mall for the principal activities of the sale and marketing of home improvement, weight loss, skincare, personal care, health, nutrition, and beauty products
Collection of Personal Data - Depending on the nature of your interaction with us, some examples of personal data which we may collect from you include your Full Name and identification information such as your NRIC number, contact information such as your address, email address or telephone number, residency status, gender, date of birth, marital status, signature, financial information such as bank account information.
2. Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Personal Data
Personal data means data, whether true or not, about a customer, member, or dealer, who can be identified from that data; or from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access.
We generally collect personal data:
(a) you knowingly and voluntarily provide in the course of or in connection with your application with us, or via a third party who has been duly authorized by you to disclose your personal data to us (your authorized representatives, after
(i) you (or your authorized representative) have been notified of the purposes for which the data is
collected, and
(ii) you (or your authorized representative) have provided known consent to the collection and usage
of your personal data for those purposes, or
(b) collection and use of personal data without consent is permitted or required by PDPA or other laws.
We shall seek your consent before collecting any additional personal data and before using your personal data for a purpose that has not been notified to you (except where permitted or authorized by law).
We may collect and use your personal data for any or all of the following purposes:
a) performing obligations in the course of or in connection with our provision of the goods and/or
service requested by you;
b) verifying your identity;
c) responding to, handling, and processing queries, requests, applications, complaints, and feedback
from you;
d) managing your relationship with us;
e) processing payment
f) sending you marketing information about our goods or services including notifying you of our
marketing events, initiatives and promotions, membership and rewards schemes and other
promotions;
g) complying with any applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, or rules, or to assist in
law enforcement and investigations conducted by any governmental and/or regulatory authority;
h) any other purposes for which you have provided the information;
j) transmitting to any unaffiliated third parties including our third-party service providers and agents,
and relevant governmental and/or regulatory authorities, whether in Singapore or abroad, for the

k) any other incidental business purposes related to or in connection with the above
The purposes listed in the above clauses may continue to apply even in situations where your relationship with us (for example, pursuant to a contract) has been terminated or altered in any way, for a reasonable period thereafter (including, where applicable, a period to enable us to enforce our rights under any contract with you).
The use would be in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (No. 26 of 2012) (the “PDPA”) and the requirements for maintaining records for reporting purposes. We do not disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

If you are a customer, dealer, or member, personal data which we may collect includes, without limitation, your:
a) Name or alias and gender;
b) Nric/FIN or passport no.
c) Mailing address,

e) Email address and other contact details;
f) Photograph
g) Bank account details and
h) Any additional information provided to us by you
4. How does The Absolute Mall use your Personal Information?
We process your personal data for the following purposes, and we may disclose your personal data to third parties on the basis that the processing is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interests as a business, and to comply with our legal obligations:
a. to verify, assess and review your suitability for engagement of services or continued engagement of
services;
b. to perform obligations under or in connection with your contract for services or addendum to
the contract for services where required;
c. to perform obligations under or in connection with the provision of our goods and services to our
clients or collaborating partners;
When we refer to “processing”, this means anything from collecting, using, storing, transferring, disclosing, altering, or destroying personal data.
5. How we protect and secure your Personal Information?
The Absolute Mall respects and understands the importance of protection of your personal data. The Absolute Mall deploys appropriate security arrangements and technological measures to safeguard and protect your personal data.
6. Retention of Personal Data
We may retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws.
We will cease to retain your personal data or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected, and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
When we no longer need your personal information, we securely delete or destroy it.
7. Withdraw, Update, and Correction of your Personal Information
7.1. Withdrawal of Consent
(a) The consent that you provide for the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data will remain valid until such time it is being withdrawn by you in writing. (b) Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your consent, we may require a reasonable time (depending on the complexity of the request and its impact on our relationship with you) for your request to be processed and for us to notify you of the consequences of us acceding to the same, including any legal consequences which may affect your rights and liabilities to us. In general, we shall seek to process your request within ten (10) business days of receiving it.
(c) Whilst we respect your decision to withdraw your consent, please note that depending on the nature and scope of your request, we may not be in a position to continue providing our goods or services to you and we shall, in such circumstances, notify you before completing the processing of your request. Should you decide to cancel your withdrawal of consent, please inform us in writing in the manner described in clause 4(a) above.
(d) Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use, and disclose personal data where such collection, use, and disclosure without consent is permitted or required under applicable laws.
We respect your right to access and control your information. We will respond to requests for information that you wish to withdraw, access, update, and/or correct any personal data provided by you and/or held by The Absolute Mall.

We generally will inform you of the receipt of the request within 7 working days from the date of receipt of your request. At the same time, we will seek to verify your identity and sufficient information about your interaction with us so that we can locate any relevant data.
Except in rare cases, your request will process and effect on 21 working days, where the proof of identity has been completed and/or after we have received full details of your request.

Accuracy of Personal Data
We generally rely on personal data provided by you (or your authorized representative). In order to ensure that your personal data is current, complete, and accurate, please update us if there are changes to your personal data by informing our Data Protection Officer in writing or via email at the contact details provided below.

We generally rely on personal data provided by you (or your authorized representatives). In order to ensure that your personal data is current, complete, and accurate, please update us if there are changes to your personal data in the manner described in clause 7.1.
We will make the appropriate update and correction as soon as reasonably practicable unless it is satisfied on reasonable grounds that the update and correction should not be made.
8. Transfers of Personal Data Outside Singapore
We generally do not transfer your personal data to countries outside of Singapore. However, if we do so, we will obtain your consent for the transfer to be made and will take steps to ensure that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that provided under the PDPA.

10. Effect of Policy, and Updates and Variation
10.1. This Policy applies in conjunction with any other policies, notices, contractual clauses, and consent clauses that apply in relation to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data by us.
10.2. The Absolute Mall reserves the right to update and vary this Policy from time to time as may be necessary without any prior notice. The updated or varied version will be posted on our Website and dated stamped so that you are aware of when this Policy was last updated. Your continued business relationship constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of such change.
11. Notice to Customers, Dealers, and Members
As customers, members, and dealers, the information provided by you and potential members may be personal and, in your possession, you are hereby required to be aware, agree and undertake to comply with the PDPA when handling personal information.
Where it is necessary for proper business operation, the Customer, Dealer, and Member shall first obtain the full consent to collect and at the same time appraise the member or potential member of the information use.
The Customer, Dealer, and Member shall not retain the said information in any form longer then what is necessary when the intended task has already been completed e.g. applying for membership.

13. Effect of Notice and Changes to Notice
This Notice applies in conjunction with any other notices, contractual clauses and consent clauses that apply in relation to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data by us.
We may revise this Notice from time to time without any prior notice. You may determine if any such revision has taken place by referring to the date on which this Notice was last updated. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of such changes.

14. Agreement and Consent
It is deemed that I have read and understood the above Privacy & Data Protection Policy, and consent to the collection, use and disclosure of my personal data for the purposes set out in the Policy.
I further confirm that all personal data (including sensitive personal data) that I have provided are all true, up to date, and accurate. Failing which, the Company reserves the right to terminate the contract and forfeit all incentives accumulated. Should there be any changes to any of any personal data, I shall notify the Company immediately.
